This project will test clinical isolates using RAPID mass array technology in order to identify transmissions of multiresistant Enterobacteriaceae (MDR-E) within and between hospitals. RAPID is a molecular test which supplies information about the phylogenetic relationship of clinical isolates as well as information about the presence of resistance markers.
